Day 1
In the morning we pick you up at your hotel. Your Safari starts with the drive to Tarangire Nationalpark. Game drive in the park, or a cultural walking Safari just outside the park. go for a morning game viewing drive in Tarangire National Park. Overnight at a campsite at Tarangire. All meals included
Day 2
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, hippo and others. Overnight at a campsite at Lake Manyara. All meals included
Day 3
In the morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. Overnight at a campsite at Ngorongoro. All meals included
Day 4
From Empakaai we are starting the Walking Safari to Lake Natron. We descend the outer hills of the Great Rift Valley, walk through the open plains of the Embulbul depression, until we reach our campsite at the village Naiobi, where you have the great opportunity to meet the local Maasais.Ol Doinyo Lengai and Mount Meru are seen along the way. Donkeys carry our luggage.
Day 5
We proceed to Oldonyo Lengai the sole active volcano of Tanzania, the "holy mountain" of the Maasai. After 4 hours of walking we reach the foot of the impressive mountain, and pitch our tents (or at Ngare Sero campsite at the nearby Lake Natron).
Day 6
Trek to the Ngare Sero River, who flows in the Lake Natron. In contrast to the surrounding dry landscape, here you can find a small paradise. After a strenuous walk up the stream, we reach the source of the river, in cascading waterfalls the river gushes out of the mountain. Overnight at the Ngare Sero Zeltplatz.
Day 7
In the morning game drive in the park, then we drive back to Arusha.
